Path of Exile is a Diablo-based online action game. The action takes place in a dark fantasy world threatened by evil powers, and of course, it is a good excuse to explore ancient ruins, caves and wasteland looking for scary monsters to kill, valuable treasures to rob and perhaps a rare weapon or two.
Like Diablo, Torchlight and other such games, the action is seen from a bird’s eye view. You can choose from seven different classes, and of course, they include everything from classic close-combat specialists to focused magicians. The game supports both teamwork and match between players.
Path of Exile is free to play and should be designed around an economy system where players sell equipment they do not need online and buy better equipment from other players. Developers also promise rich opportunities to tailor your characters and the “deepest” system for weapons and other objects in any action roles game. (Click here for more news and PoE orbs)
One of the most interesting systems in the game is about the special features of your figure. With the help of magic precious gems, you can manipulate these as you please. A simple flame ball can be changed so that it bounces from enemy to enemy, or may be shot out in large amounts. You can add up to five such gems to each special feature, so the possibilities become very many.
The game is free to download and play, but where developers hope to make money on the sale of items and other things. In addition, players should be able to sell things they do not need in a built-in marketplace.
